HMV 103 Gramophone pictures

Hello,

Here are some pictures of the HMV 103 gramophone in mahogany case, circa 1927.

It was a popular model of the 1920s in either oak or mahogany though the oak version was almost half a week wage cheaper than mahogany. The mahogany model is fairly rare, has nickel plated fittings and the large No.4 soundbox. It gives fantastic results for the new electric recordings from 1925 onwards. The internal horn is quite long winding its way around the cabinet (not directly to the front like the earlier models).
