Yahoo!

I have managed to acquire a Steck baby grand in a art deco'ish case.

The lid over the keys doesn't stay up and I cannot see any mechanism to hold it up!

does anybody have an idea of how to remedy this.

Also I cannot see how I can remove the lid, it appears to just hinge on two pins either side with no way of removing.

P.s, if you need a piano moved in the London area (or further), www.pianomovingcompany.co.uk are very good! :D

Solved the lid problem (2 screws at each side and tighten up hinge bit) ! :-)
next query . . . re pianola pedals . . . left one seems to operate ok but right one travels down a bit
before it starts to operate . . .anybody know what this is / how to cure it?

Also I will need to replace some tubing; what is the best type of tubing to use?

Many thanks in advance :D
