Some of the cars I've owned

Postby Hal Klassen » Fri Mar 01, 2013 8:40 pm

I have been in the old car hobby for nearly 50 years and have owned a 1929 Pierce Arrow 7 pass. Sedan, 1914 Lewis [Racine Wisconsin] 1930 Dodge " 8" cabriolet, 2 1936 Cord Westchesters, a 1937 Graham Cavalier, a 1941 Graham Hollywood, and a few newer ones now all sold [often to buy the next one] Presently have a 1967 Mercury Cougar and a 1985 Jaguar V12 VdP Hal Klassen

I sold most of my cars [most to get the funds for the next one] before computers and digital cameras. I will try scanning and resizing etc. This is the 1914 Lewis 6 cylinder 135" wheel base. Hal

That worked fine, I'll try another. I owned this 1936 Cord for about 30 years. The outside exhausts are functional but there is no supercharger [a $650.00 option in 1937] That's what a new Ford V8 sold for. Hal

This is a picture of 3 1941 Graham Hollywoods, mine is the blue one [on the left] They were built using mostly the Cord body dies, but with rear wheel drive and a Continental 6 cylinder engine with a supercharger. Sold this one to buy the Cord in the prvious picture [my Cougar beside it.

This is my 1985 V12 Jaguar. It has the small headlights outboard [N.A. rules at the time. Any one have a spare pair of the 7" surrounds? Hal
